Sometimes a word will be broken inappropriately, such that the pieces make actual words. There should be an option to ignore ‘for this document’. If you hit ‘x’, then that fragment will be ignored forever, and may be useful in other documents.
@creimann - Note that you can always highlight an ignored word if you would like to save it as a LingQ. This way you can ignore the word for now then save it if it comes up again later.
