First, click play. Then, right as the audio finishes speaking, press the pause button labeled “1” in the image below. The time displayed below will be the end time on the timeline. You can copy this sequence of numbers directly into the end time field, and that’s it—the timeline for that sentence is adjusted.
In other words, simply play the sentence once, then click pause to capture the precise end time. Copy this end time sequence directly into the end time field. This method is incredibly efficient. I used to waste time manually timing the end point until discovering this shortcut today. I wonder if anyone else has struggled with this before.

The end time of each sentence can also be entered as the start time for the next sentence, unless there’s a big gap.
I’ve found that if I use other software to transcribe a lesson, and enter the text before uploading the audio, the synchronization tends to work a lot better. I’ve had good luck using Turboscribe for that.
