There are a lot of nice recommendations in comments. I just want to add that you should not rush to written language. Spoken language is the first to comprehend. Most of native speakers have no idea of grammar. That is very remarkable that most of the Russian language classes (not second language but for natives) do provide literacy improvement but crucial is reading. Those people who do not read books and use language only from social networks, their Russian sucks even when they are native speakers. The main thing is to grow to the stage of reading (even graged readers) and go on. book +audiobook is very effective option as well.
