I have a question

I have some Japanese books, and I would like to study them using LingQ, is there a way I can scan them and import them that anyone knows of?

Are you going to scan pages of your books one by one with a scanner in order to make PDF files?

OCR - Optical Character Recognition
You can do it on this site: http://www.free-ocr.com/
I tried copy/pasting the text on the homepage in paint, and as you can see it has some errors:

Free-OCR.com is a free online OCR (Optical Character Recognition) tool.
You can use this senrice to extract text from any image you supply.
This service is free, no registration necessary. We also do not need your
email address.
Just upload your image iles. Free-OCR takes either a JPG, GIF, TIFF BMP
or PDF (only hrst page).

Oh… and it doesn’t support Japanese. But you might be able to find a program that does. Sorry, I don’t think this helps

You can buy Japanese OCR software like Iris.

@ytk031 I’m not sure, I just want to be able to import it to my LingQ account.
Would this work, and how would I go about doing it? I apologize for my ignorance, I don’t know much about computers.
