I’d really love to see Hungarian to be added as a new Beta language on LingQ. Are there any other people here who learn Hungarian? And most importantly, are there any Hungarians who’d be interested in providing content? I’d be willing to spend some points on recordings, for example or I could make German recordings in exchange. Any other suggestions are also welcome.
I am learning Hungarian now, and have many resources that are helping me (Hungarian course at my university, my room mate is Hungarian and our families are very close). My room mate and I will be working on content when LingQ releases how beta languages will be added to the website.
good luck!

Hungarian is not one of my priorities, but I will definitely study it sooner or later. So, I wish you all the best!
Yes, great Le_Jr, if Hungarian comes to LingQ I will definitely study the lessons provided. I lived over 20 years ago for nine months in Budapest, but I forgot all of it. I can still remember to order a cup of coffee, but not much else. I think I will be able to get it back rather with ease, which will be interesting, I always liked the rhythm of Hungarian and the friendliness of the people I met over there (with the huge difference at that time of living standards, with houses with no running water and a tap on the street!).
I’m glad to see that there are some people here who learn Hungarian.
@Le_Jr
I’m glad that you and your roommate plan to record some content once the exact requirements for new languages will be officially announced.
Hungarian is such a beautiful and unique language, it just has to become part of LingQ.
Le_Jr, are you already collecting material for Hungarian? Are you using a shared folder on Dropbox/GoogleDrive/…?
Although Hungarian is not my main focus now, as I said, I still know a few Hungarians who could be willing to create some lessons, but I would need to explain them where to put their lessons. As I wrote in the thread “New Languages at LingQ”, I think it would be useful to coordinate the content collection activity.
No I am not using one of those. I will just write them on my computer, record them, then upload them onto LingQ (if that is how the process will still be with new beta languages). Like I said earlier, I am not going to say much about it, because we don’t know the new requirements.
