unfortunately I don’t have time to read it right now. I just looked through, and noticed that it has something in common with what Steve usually says. At least in “Pretend you ARE from that country” 
Yes, both these are very interesting. I suppose my accent is an amalgam of my English teacher’s (German) accent and whatever else I thought I heard at the time of becoming active in English.
