How do you introduce yourself to new language students before the first lesson?

Hello everyone

I teach language online and was wondering how other teachers introduce themselves to new students.

I was looking at different profile formats where students can watch an introduction video and see lesson options on one screen (fluentbio.me).

Do you usually send a short introduction video first or do you just jump straight into a trial lesson to see where the student is at?
