This may sound like a stupid question to some of you but I’m simply not familiar with multimedia stuff and there’s so much information on the internet that I’m overwhelmed. I have a laptop with an integrated camera and Windows 8 as an operating system. Do I need to install a program or do I perhaps already have everything I need on my laptop without being aware of it? Anything else I should think of?
Have you downloaded Audacity and Lame yet? Many of us use Audacity (which requires Lame to be downloaded initially as well) to produce our lessons. Even I have managed it and so you’ll have no problems getting to grips with it. Viel Spaß!
Thank you, Sanne. I’ve installed Audacity and it doesn’t look too complicated, so hopefully I’ll manage to figure out how to work with it. What about videos? Any suggestions? When I watch private videos on YouTube, it seems that people just click on a button, do the recording and that’s it.
I don’t have a clue (not even a camera)! You seem to be describing the YouTube process quite nicely, just don’t forget to upload your video! I am sure, somebody will come to your rescue soon.
Thank you. I know how to record audio files now and will get familiar with videos, too.
