@chytran Thanks for the stream.
I guess one of the most interesting parts for me was your focus on looking for content with New Words and your use of the right arrow key on the browser to focus on increasing your vocabulary.
If you ever feel like it, it would be interesting if you to do a recording of you studying in real time, one at a beginner level, one at an intermediate level, and one at an advanced level. You kinda showed it at the end of your stream, but it would be good to see a recording of you really studying, instead of a mock session. That is, for a language you’ve actually never studied before, such as Thai, Latin, or Armenian, and how you’d go about it. These kinda of recordings help to pick up subtle little practices which you may never have thought were important enough to mention, just like Alexander Arguelles’ demonstration of him using Assimil (link here).
Also, it would be interesting if @steve and you could have a discussion on his YouTube channel to discuss language learning philosophy and methods using LingQ. (@zoran?)
P.S. I also would’ve never guessed you were a software engineer, as I never thought it would’ve been possible to do the sheer amount of passive listening you did in such a job.
