Has anyone ever missed the class time just as I have?

Has anyone ever missed the class time just as I have? I finally found a good reason for myself after reading an article at Englsih LingQ. This is it.
“AM” stands for the Latin phrase Ante Meridiem —which means “before noon”—and “PM” stands for Post Meridiem : “after noon.” Although digital clocks routinely label noon “12:00 PM” you should avoid this expression not only because it is incorrect, but because many people will imagine you are talking about midnight instead. The same goes for “12:00 AM.” Just say or write “noon” or “midnight” when you mean those precise times.

No, I haven’t. It seems obvious to me that 12pm means noon… It’s nothing but a universal rule, isn’t it? At least, the fact seems clear to Japanese people but maybe confusing to people in other countries…?
Anyway it’s too bad you missed the class.

There have been other members who have been confused by this and we do hope to add a 24 hour clock at some point. You will then be able to choose how you would like to have the time displayed.

Regards,

Jill

I haven’t missed the class due to this kind of misunderstanding,
but I think it is quite confusing too, although I am Japanese because
11pm is obviously 11 o’clock at night.
