I was invited in a group discussion. I wanted to sign up for it but it was 3 hours before the time that discussion was to begin. The discussion was no longer among the list; therefore, I couldn’t participate.
Until when the group discussions are seen on the speaking tab? Is there a delay to be able to sign up?
Well, I don’t know the answer as far as LingQ is concerned, but as far as the tutor is concerned there shouldn’t be a problem adding you in, if you send them a text message via Skype they should see it when setting up the group discussion and add you in. You can sort out paying for it later, by signing up for a 15 minute 1 on 1.
The discussions should stay in the list until the start time but I think there is a bug there. We will look into it this week sometime.

By the way, if it was one of my discussions then I often cancel them a couple of hours beforehand if no-one has signed up, just because if someone does sign up at the last minute I may not notice and I may go off and have a bath or something instead. I’m happy to uncancel them again, as long as I get the message in time and haven’t run the bath yet.
