Really… I’m finding 3 major benefits:
•Because of the well-worn, predictable structure of jokes, it’s possible to correctly guess a higher proportion of unknown words.
•Due to the often absurd mental imagery of jokes, words and phrases seem to stay in memory much easier
•They often use conversational or colloquial phrasing
Has anyone else found that a particular type of content gives good results?
