French contracted words with ' don't show translation and aren't marked

I am using a Win 10 PC, Chrome browser freshly updated and restarted. I have only 403 known words in French, (virer and quelqu’un are not among them). Still “virer” is white and not selectable.

Also note another problem with translations in sentence mode: “devait” shows a sensible translation on the right hand side, translation below is out of sync.

I am having this issue also with Ukrainian (it is not a contraction there, it is a letter, so splitting the words and not being able to look them up/study them is particularly problematic)

It’s also causing lessons that I finished long ago to still show up with “unknown words”, which means that when I sort by % they show up again.

I have also the issue Susanficken found on my end. Also when the word is complete so not splitted it’s not clickable. When you click on it, nothing appears.

I’ll check with our team what is the status here and get back to you soon.

Problem still happening. This is a fundamental issue with how the app works, there doesn’t seem much urgency to fix the problem.
I’ve a streak over 400+ days and this is just becoming unusable, I’ve really regretting renewing. Which is a real shame, as the concept is really good, shame about the poor responses, and the lack of ability to implement the fundamentals functions well.

This is still an issue. When something that was working gets broken, shouldn’t it be a priority to figure out which change caused the problem and to fix it as quickly as possible?

This one is still work in progress. I apologize for the delay, and urged our developers to push a fix for this asap.

I’ve been having a similar (major) problem with Italian as well. For over a week there have been words which were unselectable on the phone app, as in you can’t click them to change if you know them or not, nor can you click them to see the dictionary.

I took a short break from LingQ due to that and returned yesterday, but a new type of error suddenly appeared, where in the middle of the lesson, the app was highlighting 2 separate words (words with spaces in the middle) and acting as if it were one single word. When I click on it, the word that pops up in the dictionary is not even the words it had highlighted.

When I was trying to read the lesson anyways, my LingQ coins jumped up extremely fast as if there were a bug with that too. I got 400 coins in what was probably about 2 minutes, which was my daily goal. I did LingQ for what I’m pretty sure was around 10 minutes or less and ended up with over 1,400 coins for the day. Then today I logged in and it told me I had “lost my streak”, which doesn’t make any sense.
