Forum problem: Thread is missing in the list with the recent threads

I miss the “English and German” thread in the list on the right. It is this thread: http://www.lingq.com/forum/4/31400/

It has definitely more recent posts than most of the other shown threads. Is there a new feature which makes thread private  (Just kidding)

Second problem: The Open English Forum list says it has 34 posts, but in fact it has 22 only.

That’s one of the older bugs that still exist here.

It’s back now …

A bit late, but I just had a brain wave concerning the missing thread issue.

It used to happen to me quite frequently a couple of years back. I finally figured out that it generally occurred after I (the originator of the thread) had edited an early comment in the thread.

Once I had edited the earlier comment, the whole thread would resume its position in the timeline according to the date when the edited comment was first written. That way it would vanish from the current list, even when I had added another quite recent comment.

“Once I had edited the earlier comment, the whole thread would resume its position in the timeline according to the date when the edited comment was first written.”
This is true. Now this thread is at the top on the list.
But, if someone edit early comments, this thread will disappear from the top.

“Second problem: The Open English Forum list says it has 34 posts, but in fact it has 22 only.”
If you edit comments, the number increases.

"I finally figured out that it generally occurred after I (the originator of the thread) had edited an early comment in the thread. "

I wonder if this phenomenon occurs only when the originator edits his or her first comment.
