Is there a way for learners to post audio files on LingQ (e.g. in an open/forum-like section) so that other members can provide feedback on pronunciation/accent etc?
I know that individual tutors could do this during a points-paid conversation but I was thinking more along the lines of what you see on YouTube where a polyglot/language learner posts a video and people freely comment below.
Is this already possible somehow on LingQ and if not, I wonder whether people would find it useful…
Thanks Ress. I was thinking more about in the forums, rather than needing to use points… but hadn’t realised you could do this on the exchange (still finding my way around the site).
Note that the points on the exchange are only the suggested points. If you have a language partner, you can propose to check each other’s pronunciation using the exchange for one point.
Thanks Steve. I didn’t know this either. What’s the best way to find a language partner - is posting on the forum best? I know those sorts of requests tend to clog up the forum and annoy some learners but is there any other way?
I wold go to the exchange, post an audio file that you would like comments on, and offer one point. Then say in the comment section that you are prepared to correct English pronunciation in return for one point. See what happens.
