Thanks, we will investigate this.
I’ve just tested it, and I’m able to open the lesson on iOS but I’m unable to open the lesson on the web app. I tried both Safari and Chrome. Weird!
I have another problem, not sure if connected. I tried to import another lesson, only partially imported, I went to try to regenerate the lesson to add the text and I cannot do it, I received the message in the screeshot below.
I couldn’t even import the audio.
I mean, this is just simple stuff that should work. Imho.
Hi @davideroccato The first issue was caused by a link included in the lesson content. We’ve added support to properly handle this case and expect to release it soon.
As for the second point, this is expected behavior. Regeneration of lesson process includes generation of lesson translation. If you import a lesson in English and also set the dictionary language to English, you will be prompted to change the dictionary language before proceeding. Same happens, if your dictionary language is set to “Other”.
Hi @LingQlearner, in the first problem I copied and inserted manually the text. I didn’t even realize there was a link in it. But I saw some symbols # from the iOS version that I can open.
In the second different lesson, I have two dictionaries in my settings, but I changed the order because I want to go monolingual, so I’m interested in seeing only English definitions on English text.
However, what about if I want to add text to a lesson, I cannot do that anymore? (unless I go back and change the dictionaries order)
I think you should consider the options for the ones that go monolingual, and don’t care about the sentence by sentence translation anymore.
Or you just don’t consider the priorities in the dictionaries, and if there are two, and the first is the same language, you pick the second. I don’t know, just an idea.
@davideroccato For the first case, this should be resolved on the web version. Please let us know if the issue still persists for you.
Regarding the second case — you are correct. At the moment, it is not possible to use Regenerate lesson button and add text to a lesson without changing the dictionary (meaning use dictionary choice “other” or same language pair). We will discuss this internally to explore possible improvements, thanks
@LingQlearner I can open the lesson now, thanks. Hope you’ll find a solution for the 2nd as well! ![]()
