Errors on CSV File when Exporting Lingqs

Hi. When I try to export a CSV file with all my Lingqs some words have unusual symbols to spell the words (e.g.Gerónimo, ¿estás ahí)
and also many Lingqs are left blank in the “phrase” column. I tried to export them twice and it came out with errors both times. Thanks for your help.

Is it possible the error is in the way you are loading the document? I assume you are using some sort of software like Excel to load it. I think you might be loading it using the wrong encoding/character set, you have to use UTF-8. In Excel, this is apparently how to do that: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/opening-csv-utf-8-files-correctly-in-excel-8a935af5-3416-4edd-ba7e-3dfd2bc4a032 . In Libre Office Calc, the free alternative I am using, I get a popup asking me to select the character set, among other things.

Yes, as @GreenJoFlo wrote, most probably it’s a coding issue.

Here’s another thing you can try and see if it helps:
After you download a CSV file from LingQ, close it and then create a new regular EXCEL file. Open that new blank Excel file and then:
Click on the DATA tab on the top and choose the FROM TEXT option. A popup will appear and you should find your CSV file downloaded from LingQ, select it and click on IMPORT. On the next popup choose DELIMITED, click on NEXT and check TAB and COMMA options. Click on NEXT and then FINISH.
That should be it. You can then save the file again in CSV format if you want to import it somewhere. Hope this helps!
