Epic: I love something I originally hated about Russian

So Russian joins tons of syllables together to form these monster words. Which was a pain in the ass at the beginning to learn.
But now, some 6500 words in I’m starting to be able to guess the meanings of words correctly before looking them up because I know the components.
I might just hit my target before the year is out after all. Awesome sauce.

I experienced something similar when I learned the prefixes. Suddenly it gives you context to any word that you wouldn’t have had without it. What resources did you use that helped you learn (the grouping of syllables)?
