I am trying a variety of things on the new page. So far, I have two problems. On the lesson page, I hover my curser over the icon on the lower right of the lesson description, and it says “remove lesson” When I click on this, nothing changes, and the “remove lesson” still comes up when I hover over this button, even after I refresh the page. The second, when I go to my courses, which is how I select my next lesson to take or review, I have to browse through many pages to find the course I want today. I can’t see what the order is. I click on “most recently accessed” and I get many old courses that I am no longer interested in, or ones that I looked at once do not wish to pursue. It does not seem to be alphabetic either. This adds a lot of dead time to my studying.
@louise-steele - That control you are hovering on is the Save control. When it’s on and blue, it is saved in My Lessons. Then, if you hover on it, it says, “Remove from My Lessons”. If you click once, it will turn grey to let you know it has been removed. It will then no longer appear when you refresh. It is confusing now since, as long as your cursor is still there, it continues to be blue. We will change this so it’s more obvious when it changes to grey.
I agree there are some issues with the filtering. we will get these fixed. You should see your courses sorted by recently opened. Something is not working properly there. Sorry about that!
With regard to your most recent post, I click on the blue thing, it does not change colour when I move the cursor away, and the lesson is still there after I refresh.
@louise-steele That’s strange. Which browser are you using? On which operating system?
I am using Windows 10 and Microsoft Edge
We, unfortunately, have no way of testing on Edge at the moment. Can you send us some screenshots of what you see? Also, please test on Chrome or Firefox to make sure you are not having the problem there as well.
I tried in Chrome, and the course is still there. I will learn how to send a screen shot. Where do I send this to?
I find the readers unusable. I need to be able to opt for scrolling without paging or at least not have it set to have only 50 words on a page. I already have the maximum number of words on a page and I find the site unusable. I’d hate to have to unsubscribe.
The classic view for the lesson page is not going anywhere. We are just talking about the Library pages which have never worked particularly well.
@louise_steele - So, were you able to unsave lessons in Chrome? You do have to unsave all lessons in a course before it will be removed from the Courses list in My Lessons. You can send screenshots to support at lingq dot com.
Hi Mark, in Chrome I was able to unsave all the lessons in one course, and then that course moved to the bottom of my courses. I don’t generally like using Chrome for working on LingQ because I find the sound quality is not as good. Once the courses come up most recent first, this will no longer be a problem. I will send you the screen shots when I have time to learn how to do this, hopefully tomorrow
We will get to fixing this in Edge but, if it’s not unsaving there for now, you will have to unsave at least, in Chrome. I see that bug in the Course list which still shows the removed course. We will fix that. You should see the list sorted correctly in our next update in the next few days.
We probably don’t need a screenshot anymore unless something looks strange in Edge. To take a screenshot, easiest would be if you have a prntscrn button or something similar on your keyboard.
Thanks Mark, once the courses are sorted by most recent first, it will solve all my problems.
@Louise - Give it a try now. The order for your courses should be fixed.
Sorry for not replying any sooner but for the last few days I no longer could access the forum on my computer - either got a blank page or only the first post (Google Chrome/Firefox on Mac).
Mark, much as I hate to say this, the question isn’t whether you see why I use the notifications the way I do. I don’t think it’s asking too much for notifcations to be deleted - we complained ablut that MONTHS ago and were told it would be possible again soon.
Since I (and perhaps many others) spend more time beta-testing I have now downgraded to free. Perhaps one da when you are through with upgrading everthing it will be better experience for me and I’ll upgrade again.
Deahna, how did you solve the problem of blank forum pages? I have the same on one of my computers.

@Deahna, Ress - I have no idea why you would be unable to access the forum. What were you clicking on to see these blank pages? Might have been some strange caching issue. @Ress is the forum not working for you, if you were able to post here?
As for deleting notifications, as I said, it is in our list. Sorry it’s inconvenient for you but we can only do what we can.
Mark, as I told, the problem exists on one of my computers. I did nothing special, it just stopped working one day.
When I click on the Forum link on the top of any page, I got an empty list of threads.
When I receive a notification about a forum post, I can see the 1st (initial) post of the thread only.
This is a huge improvement.
My mobile app does not currently sync with the Playlists on the web. I’m on a Nexus 6. Is there something I’m missing?
*edited to note - I see now that you wrote the playlists will “eventually” sync with the mobile app. I assume that this means it does not yet have that functionality, right?
