The latest update seems to have killed the ability to move lessons to a different order within a course in Edit Course. Desktop version.

Thanks for reporting. I asked our team to look into this.
I use a web browser on a PC and it works for me. But you must click and drag on the reordering icon on the right side of the lesson, as in this image. When you hover over it, it gets highlighted, and while you click on it, a hand icon appears indicating that you can drag the lesson to change its order.
