I’m not trashing Duolingo. I’m simply sharing an excerpt from a book I’m reading about learning Japanese. I think the author is a good writer and a lot of her struggles mirror some of mine.
I didn’t share the entire chapter but the author makes note of the positive impact apps like Duolingo brings to the learning community as well.
