Difficulty using payment cards

Hello! It seems as if my card gets declined even if there are sufficient funds in the associated account and I managed to use the card somewhere else moments after I got declined in LingQ. In fact, the only way I am able to pay is using iTunes but I do not want to use it this time as I could forego some of the discounts I am entitled to. What seems to be happening?
