Different languages, word count, etc

Hi,

I might be lame, but I just can’t figure out what is happening with the different languages I’m learning. My main focus is on Spanish, when I type “Lingq.com” into the URL field, the Spanish seccion comes up. That’s fine.

The first thing that I don’t understand is when I go to my profile, in the info box it shows that Learning (Known Words): 4658, while if I look at my Spanish badge on the right of the screen it says: I know 4641 words in Spanish. I know it’s not a big deal, I’m just curious why the two numbers are different.

My second question is: again, on the main page, where I can see the "Learning (Known Words): 4658, there is no record of the other languages! I mean I took a few English and Chinese lessons (just out of curiousity), created a few lingq-s, selected a few known words - but there is no record of that on the home page. Am I doing something wrong? Furthermore - my activity point is zero in English. Could someone please tell me why?

On the main page, it only shows the known words total for the language that is currently selected. On your profile page, the activity score for English may not include study that you have done in the last day or even two (I’m not sure how long the delay is). As to why the badge and the known words total is different, I don’t know. But it seems like it’s always behind.

Since I’ve been here, I’ve noticed a little delay from when I have done something to when the activity points come up. But they never fail to show up, so it doesn’t bother me so much.
