Cursor jumping and auto-snapping prevents creating whitespace at the top/bottom of notes

Hi,

I’m trying to create empty space at the top of my note within the vocab card by pushing the existing text down. However, as soon as I’m ready to type in that new space, the entire block of text jumps back up to fill the gap I just created. It essentially deletes the empty lines I try to make.

I’m also having the same issue at the bottom of the note. Whenever I try to create new space or start a new line at the end, the cursor jumps right back to the very end of the existing text block. I can’t seem to add any empty lines or padding at the top or the bottom.

Could anyone look into this? Thanks!

This isn’t a bug, it was intentionally made this way. We’ll see if that’s something we can change.

It has become even worse.

Now I can’t even create a space between sentence.

I’m having the same issue. This problem also makes it nearly impossible to add extra information to the notes field once you already have a note in there. For instance trying to copy-paste some information from a dictionary or a small text from ChatGPT. The cursor keeps jumping back to another place and often the pop-up you need to choose “paste” from doesn’t even show up. As far as I can remember this issue started after the latest update.
