I’m hoping you make the sidebar resizeable. If I’m watching something imported from YouTube the player insists on showing up and has to cover something else up, either the transcript or the sidebar. I tend to minimize it and move it over the sidebar so I can follow the transcript. If I click on a word for a definition, I often have to then move the video view window over to the left somewhere so I can read the definition and decide whether to make a LingQ or not. Then I have to move the player back to the right, over the sidebar again to continue. The software also insists that I move it far enough each time or it will snap back to where it just was, so minor adjustments are impossible; I have to move it twice across the screen to try to find the sweet spot. This is a massive timewaster, fixable by making the sidebar adjustable in size so I could put the player below the sidebar and just scroll the sidebar up and down. This seems like a no-brainer so I suspect there may be some underlying OS or Chrome restrictions, but one can only hope.
I’m using the latest version of Chrome on OS 26.5.1 on Mac. The LingQing has gone hayware in the last 3 days but I’ll deal with that in another post.
