@RobertAB Could you show an example of the difference between the two ChatGPTs when it comes to translation, given the same text? Just curious, what I’m missing as free user.

@bamboozled The premium features are quite useful, but often the translations are sub par (in some languages).

While the AI generated context suggestions are interesting and can help with understanding the meaning of a sentence, I would also like to be able to turn that off.
There is now a bug om android, which is that while the AI suggestion is loading,which currently can take quite a long time (frequently over 10 seconds ), the old dictionary translations are not visible. This makes the main feature of the app ( on the fly translation) work very poorly.

You can turn the AI meanings off in the settings. As for the Android bug, it seems to be affecting Finnish lessons and we are looking into it.

This isn’t a bug. It groups all definitions together in the minimized popup. This becomes useful when you add an Ai translation to an existing LingQ.
