I am starting to be really frustrated with Lingq as a service. I am playing the premium plus and I have decided to downgrade. The thing is that this service is not worth it as constant technical difficulties are making the learning experience quite bad.
Apparently coding and quality practices are not in place with the team and I assume that there isn’t that much automation in place to make sure that the working part of the software doesn’t break after a change in another. So, I would highly recommend that you would check with your teams if they are running any automated tests.
I have reported many times that the review functionality does not work. It is still broken and I have to re-do the words in order to get them updated to the upper level. This is annoying. So, I try to run 20 at a time and it seems that even though all the answers are right, it seems that many times the words don’t update. Technical tip, are you sending the messages between the client and the server within a one message or many, as it seems that it is inconsistent how the words update, which let’s me suspect that it’ may be several messages. It seems that waiting in the “results page” helps but not always.
Also, the coin balance doesn’t seem to be working anymore with if you did reviews. Has this been changed with intention or did it just break. If it is changes by design, why doesn’t it matter that I make reviews for 100 per day that I get literally 0 coins for my efforts? If it broke accidentally, why? ANyhow, this is the key metric that I as a customer use to check how much I have done during a day so if it’s broken, then that is a bad thing.
Anyhow, let me know if you are going to fix these and so I can make decisions do I want to pay at all for this service anymore.
