Chinese “呢” default pronunciation is wrong and uses a rare reading instead

Hi, I’d like to report an issue with the word “呢”. If you check any dictionary, this character actually has two possible readings, but one of them is extremely rare and barely ever shows up in real use. The problem is that the program always picks that rare pronunciation, even in super common sentences.

The usual pronunciation should be “ne”, but the program keeps using something closer to “ní”. The pinyin it shows is correct, but the audio always goes for the odd reading. Here’s an example:

她 呢 就 面 带 微笑 地 走向 我们
tā ne jiù miàn dài wēixiào de zǒuxiàng wǒmen

This isn’t just about one word — there are many characters with the same issue. It’s honestly pretty frustrating, because instead of helping you, it ends up confusing you, especially if you’re in the early stages of learning. Even at an intermediate level it really breaks your flow.

For a program that claims to be “state-of-the-art”, this is a pretty big flaw. I hope you can fix the default pronunciation so it uses the normal reading first.

Thanks!
