Adult language learners often have a goal that I don’t think most of them can reach: sounding like a native. The data backs me up. Around 80% never get past A2, and even the most famous polyglots can still be identified as non-native speakers. To me, B2 is the level that actually matters, where you and the person you’re talking to are both comfortable, and it’s achievable if you put in the time.
