[bug] when selecting a phrase with hyphen, the sentence gets selected

In the lesson I am following I am trying to select 2 subsequent words separated by a hyphen, but when I do, the whole sentence gets selected and the second word appears after the end of the sentence. I will include screenprints to show what I mean. First the before image. The words concerned are the first two: ensi-ilta (literally first evening).

After selecting both words ensi followed by ilta I get the following (see screenprint). As you can see, the word ilta follows the sentence. I think this is a bug.
