Augmented-reality translator for the iPhone

Pretty unbelievable.

Wow! Now how does that possibly work?

OCR (Optical Character Recognition) + compositing (+ basic translation/word lookup, naturally).

Naturally. This is not bad (despite some crappy translation efforts there).

By the Great Bunny! Where can I get one?

Is there an android version?

Great stuff. Now EVERYBODY wants an iPhone.

I’ve just tried this on my iPod 4g. It’s slow and jerky and to get the full app it costs £6. I can’t help wonder that the best way to get around this is just to learn the basics before you go, which you can do for free.
