Audio Playlist Causing App Freezes/Crashes on iOS

I’ve been having issues with my playlists this morning on iPhone. The LingQ app immediately freezes whenever I try to play an audio. I tested my playlists on my desktop and the audio works just fine. I am using the most recent version of LingQ according to the App Store (6.0.2). I have also tried clearing the audio cache and reinstalling the app. It has not resolved the issue.

We pushed a fix for that issue a few days ago. Please update the app to latest version.

Ive been having similar problems for a long time and seem to have latest version of the app. The other annoying thing is it doesnt seem to allow turning the screen off as it did before. The whole point of playlists for me is when i just want audio I should be able to play with screen off like I would a podcast otherwise why not just play the video. Playlist is fully broken on ios mobile.

@rpwyqs7hmc What app version exactly are you on?

v6.0.3 (4) Is this the latest?

@rpwyqs7hmc Yes, that is the latest one. What issues exactly are you experiencing on this latest version?

The main issue is if i turn the screen off it stops playing and even if i press play in screen off mode it doesn’t work. Its annoying as I like to just listen sometimes. Thanks.

@rpwyqs7hmc We’ll see if we can do anything about it. Thanks.

I would appreciate this. Sometimes i can get it to play : you can see the bar move but no sound comes out or it reverts to a different podcast app if thats been played recently. iPhone 16 Pro Max version 26.2.1

Is there any news on fixing this? It’s a feature I like to use a lot. Thanks Adam

same problem, playlist items dont show at all

@rpwyqs7hmc No update here yet, sorry. I’ll post as soon as I have more information.

Hello @rpwdoc1953 could it possible be the YouTube video lesson that is not playing? LingQ cannot play YouTube video lessons in background, only the lessons that have an audio.
