Audio feature in lingqs and flashcards

Since a few days i noticed that i wasn’t able to listen the audio pronunciation in my lingqs anymore.
Is it the same for you all ? Is it google traduction related ?
Thanks for bringing me some light on this.

Did you recently update your browser? There are some bugs in Firefox and IE9 that have caused the text-to-speech to stop working. We plan to have these fixed in our next update, but in the meantime I might recommend using Chrome or Safari if you’d like to use text-to-speech.

I don’t remember updating my browser recently but i do use firefox…
Thank you for answering.

Hello…

I can hear the audio for the full transcript/lesson…but not for flashcards…I click on audio icon on flashcard next to word…but get nothing/no audio…FYI…I have internet explorer browser…thanks…

yeah… same here the TTS do not work for lingq’s / flashcards anymore…
I’m sure lingq staff will fix this in time… I’m not worried…

As noted above, there are some bugs in Firefox and IE that have caused text-to-speech on the flashcards to stop working. These should be working properly in our next update which is coming soon

I too have the same problem as Opewale above I cannot invoke audio on the flash cards. I also use internet explorer 8 and 9. Can I ask how I submit writing on line. Of course I can type through the microsoft Chinese IMI but this cannot do any good topersonal writing, stroke order etc. I have seen animation for stroke order in some other programs. Can somebody from LingQ attend to these question and answercuratively please

The Write section in LingQ allows you to submit your writing to tutors to receive correction for grammatical mistakes, spelling, etc. If you’re looking to practice Chinese handwriting you may want to find some workbooks or textbooks that allow you to do this. I have found that stroke order isn’t quite as important when typing in Chinese on the computer, since most people type in Pinyin then tell the computer which Chinese character to convert it to.
