At times, I have problems importing from You Tube

I import a series from You Tube called CostoXDestino. Some imports are fine. Others have an error message ¨Error- No appropriate captions found.¨ What is the problem?

Please give it another try now and let me know if you still have the same issue.

Try reloading the YouTube page and then try importing again. That’s what has worked for a couple of us. It may require a forced (“hard”) reload to clear the cache for that page, and it may take a few tries. Use Ctrl+F5 or Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac). If you’re on mobile you may need to do something else.

This isn’t really a fix, but a workaround for the time being.

Good luck!

I have the same issue and its been getting a lot worse since a few days ago.. Examples:

Same problem for me. Windows 11 laptop. Latest version of Chrome. Latest version of the LingQ importer extension. I refreshed the YouTube video many times, and did Empty Cache and Hard Reload, and it still isn’t working

@Mac539 and fellows,

I really recommend that you post a comment in Kaufmann YouTube videos complaining about this issue, because, here is a fu**ing late solving, almost a disrespectful for us, customers. This is something that occurs always, but anyone of the dev team does anything.

If we earn 1$ per time that this happen, I guess that they will do something or we will have full-time access soon, because the amount of $$$s.

Also having this problem. seems like something broke recently and now nothing from youtube has appropriate captions anymore. The videos clearly have captions and would have easily imported in the past

It’s not working for me either – macos + ff. I have tried multiple hard refreshes, on multiple videos, from multiple channels. Nothing is working. I also tried disabling and re-enabling the lingq extension.
