I have been trying to download an audio for the last week, without any success. Are some audios playable, but not downloadable?
The work is Historias de nuestra Historia (España) > Beethoven at Login - LingQ.
I can read the text, download the text, hear the audio, but when I click on either of the two download buttons, I either get a black screen, or, today, I get a white screen with a player that plays the audio, but from which I cannot download it.
Would you be able to let us know which browser you’re using? You might have to right click the download button and select “Save link as…” or something similar.
I am using Firefox 16.0.2 with Windows 7. Clicking on the download button with my left mouse button has worked on all the other downloads, but I will try the right button.
I have never been able to download the Spanish lessons from content provider “Audiria”. I don’t know, maybe it’s some kind of copyright thing. I click on download and it just starts playing.
In the case where lessons are hosted on an external site, clicking the download button will take you to that site. The simple workaround here is to right click and select “Save link as” or “Save linked file as” (the name of this feature varies from browser to browser).
