Adding subtitles from long form Youtube Videos

I recently realized that there are some long form youtube videos with subtitles that I wouldn’t be able to make lessons with using the lingq extension.
To fix this i found a website that allows you to download the entire subtitle file from any youtube video, no matter how long it is. You have the option of downoading any of the closed caption files embedded in the video. This file is in .srt format which is supported by lingq
Therefore, you can make the lesson yourself by using the ‘IMPORT EBOOK’ option

Goodluck on your language learning journey!

I clicked on the link to that site, and it came up with nothing but spam links. :-\ Another site for downloading subtitles is https://downsub.com/. It has a few ads but is quite usable. It supports download of auto-generated subtitles, which is what I use it for, if that’s what I want. For other, human-created subtitles I use a browser plugin which, after it’s installed, is much more convenient than going to third-party site. The plugin only downloads in SRT format, though, whereas downsub.com supports both SRT and TXT formats.

Hey, thats unfortunate, i just used it today and it works fine, also i use an ADBLOCKER so i don’t get any spam links at all, i just paste the link to the youtube video and i get the subtitles in the language im searching for. Thanks for sharing yours too!
