500 server error: can't upload audio file

I have been trying to upload an audio file but I have been getting the 500 server error message now for a couple of days. I am using firefox 3.6.6 and the file is 64 kbs. I have uploaded quite a few audio files before but something is not working now. Is this me or is it the website?

I am able to upload audio if it is a new lesson, but I am not able to upload audio to a lesson previously saved but accidentally saved with wrong audio file so after I erased the audio, I am no longer able to upload a new audio file. I also tried to delete the lesson and save a new one (but with the same name) but I can’t save the audio to a new file (at least not one with the same name as the lesson for which I deleted the audio file ) in this collection.

@John1957 - Thanks for letting us know. We are looking into this issue.

Just for the record, I’ve been having the same problem. I can furnish you details and I can email you the failing audio file if you think it will help.

Does this issue exist under the same circumstances or is it only a problem with specific files?
If it appears to be the file, you are welcome to email it to us so we can take a look.

Hi Alex: I am able to upload the file if I create a new lesson with a new name, not in the collection. I cannot up load it if I upload it to the lesson to which I previously had mistakenly uploaded a different file (which was incorrect), even if I totally redo the lesson from scratch after erasing the old lesson. I also found that I can’t upload any sound file to a lesson in that collection with the same name. Let me know where to send the file and I’ll send it to you if you still want it.

Hi John,

Can you try uploading the file again? We just added a fix related to this issue and it seems to be working fine now.

Yes, it works fine now! Thanks!
