Same problem on other platforms, as well as not recognizing combined words with commas (ā).
Just encountered this as well, itās saying that āespanol yā is a single word. In the Steve video with Spanish After Hours.
I can see this is also the case with a number of blue highlighted word(s). Obviously a new bug to add to the list.
I ran into the same problem on a Spanish video a couple days ago. Words that I had already marked as known came up as two words normally with el, la, con or similar in front, and other times a phrase that makes sense with the two words combined. Seems like a bug, but in some cases if it is a common phrase, it might be a good idea.
I think it would be a good idea if phrases were recognised, as words on their own are often meaningless and, to me at least, it would make more sense to focus on phrases and patterns and saving these rather than individual words which change depending on context. I know you can save phrases now but when I started I stuggled to identify them. Some AI support with this would be good. Perhaps breaking down the example patterns in a paragraph.
We are familiar with this problem and we are working on it. Thanks for your patience.
What is the cause? Why does the software suddenly think āen elā is a word?
I noticed this problem on private material that I uploaded. Everywhere this happened in the document, I was able to go into edit mode and fix it. Iād go to the line, put the cursor in between the two words that were in blue, take out the space between them and then add the space back Then Iād close the line with the up/down arrow. Clicked on view lesson and the problem was gone. Havenāt seen this on public lessons Iāve opened. There my fix wouldnāt work because you canāt go into āeditā.
